Stewardship Project - Mixed Ages

Trees Water & People, United Way and the City of Fort Collins Natural Areas have partnered for National Volunteer Month for an opportunity for volunteers to give back to the environment. Details of the project are below: The City of Fort Collins has partnered with the City of Loveland to construct Longview Trail that runs from Loveland to Fort Collins. The construction of this 4.4 mile stretch of paved trail will connect Fort Collins to Loveland. Volunteers will work to re-vegetate the area after construction. This will include the planting of wetland plugs in Hazaleus Natural Area. This is a family friendly event with more information to follow. Natural Areas will provide all tools, safety equipment, snacks, and lunch. PLEASE NOTE: • Natural areas are dynamic and so are we; the project may change for safety, weather, or site conditions. All registered participants will be notified via email at least 2 hours before project start time. Please check your email for updates before you go. • Lunch is provided, if you have any food allergies or restrictions, please email Diane Wendt beforehand at [email protected] so we can best prepare!
