Where: Poudre Trail. Park at the tennis courts at Lee Martinez Park and follow the paved trail west until you come to a small beach on the north side of the trail. When: Tuesday, August 9, 9:45a.m. - 10:15a.m. - Session #2 Accessibility: Program takes place almost entirely on a paved bike trail easily accessible to any mobility devices. Up to 1 mile, round trip. Bathrooms available near the Lee Martinez Park playground. What to Bring: Dress appropriately for the weather forecast. Bring sunscreen; a hat; closed-toe, sturdy shoes; and water to drink. This program takes place in the river, so bug repellent or long sleeves are highly suggested. Bring water shoes and towels for river fun! Waders will be available at the program site. Program Description: All ages welcome! Use dip nets and collecting trays to discover what lives beneath the surface of the Cache la Poudre River. Biologists will be on hand to help identify your finds. All dip netting equipment is provided.
