Discover the unique traits bats have to survive at night and witness science in action. Enjoy a short interpretive program followed by observation of mist-netting and acoustic detection. Note: Catching bats is difficult so we cannot guarantee we will see them. The evening will start with a short program at Nix farm followed by a walk down a paved path to the location where the mist netting will occur. We will have some chairs but feel free to bring your own. The program will run until 11pm but you are welcome to leave when you see fit.
