Location: Fossil Creek Reservoir The entrance to Fossil Creek Reservoir Natural Area is on Carpenter Road/ CR 32, approximately one mile west of I-25, or two miles east of Timberline on the north side of Carpenter Road; the approximate address is 3340 Carpenter Road. NOTE: If weather is bad, this program may be moved indoors at Nix Farm (1745 Hoffman Mill Rd.). Please check your emails before heading to the program if weather looks questionable.

I worked in the outdoor industry for 22 years for climbing, mountain and ski equipment and apparel brands. After that, I became involved in local land conservation efforts here in NoCO. I have guided hikes for the Family Nature Summits, a nationwide conservation nonprofit, since (gulp!) 1989. I love getting people outside, connecting them with the outdoors, helping them challenge themselves and better understand the natural world.
