Natural Discoveries - Mixed Ages

Where: Gateway Natural Area, parking will be free for those who attend the program. Meet near Picnic Shelter A to get your parking pass. When: June 14, 10:00a.m. - noon Accessibility: Program takes place on dirt trails. Easy and flat, but slightly uneven. Hike is 1.5 miles long. Accessible bathrooms available at Gateway parking area. No cell service at this location. If you have any questions or concerns about the accessibility of a program, please contact [email protected] or call 970-416-2815 for more information. People with disabilities are welcome to participate in all programs and we are happy to make any appropriate accommodations. Requests for disability-related services can be made during registration through the activity contact or by calling 970-416-2815 at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the activity. What to Bring: Dress appropriately for the weather forecast. Bring sunscreen, a hat, closed-toe, sturdy shoes, and plenty of water. Bring binoculars if you have them and a lunch to enjoy after the program. Program Description: Explore the where the river and foothills meet. See the birds, butterflies, and plants that live here. Bring your lunch to enjoy during a short presentation after the hike. Please bring water, sun/insect protection and sturdy shoes. Bring binoculars if you have them. Parking passes will be provided for your vehicle when you check in.
