When: Wednesday, July 13, 6:00p.m. - 8:00p.m. Accessibility: Program takes place outside and along an ADA accessible trail with opportunities for shade at the shelter 0.25 miles up the trail. Accessible bathrooms and parking available. Hike of up to 0.5 mile, easy. What to Bring: Dress appropriately for the weather forecast. Bring sunscreen, a hat if you want one, closed-toe, sturdy shoes for outdoor observations, and plenty of water. Art supplies will be available, but feel free to bring your own as well. Consider bringing something to sit on outside Program Description: Beginners and veterans welcome! Instruction, focused and guided observations along with drawing, painting, and writing deepen your connections to nature. Learn to use nature journaling techniques to capture the magic of a summer evening in a natural area. Children 9 and older are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
